The Samsung Chianti is a text-oriented cell phone on the Sprint network, featuring a slider design that opens to reveal a full QWERTY keypad for faster, more accurate texting. The phone comes with a 2.6-inch TFT, 320 x 240 resolution screen and has a 2-megapixel camera so you can snap photos and video clips along with an MP3 music player. You can also equip Bluetooth compatible accessories for hands-free talking, save extra images on microSD cards, browse the internet and download online information with Sprint's 3G network, and access map and location-based services with the built-in GPS. There is no word yet on a retail price for the Chianti, but it should be released sometime in the third quarter of 2009.
